Lying in a rural spot, located in the village of Arkendale, yet close to many villages, towns and cities. Just 5 miles from Knaresborough, an ancient market and Spa town on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales, overlooking the River Nidd. Discover Mother Shiptons Cave and take a boat along the River Nidd and under the Knaresborough viaduct. Visit Staveley Nature Reserve (3.4 miles) where the wetland habitat offers sightings of birds and otters. The cathedral cities of Ripon (10miles) and York (17miles) are close by, where you can explore the Shambles, a historic street with overhanging timber framed buildings filled with quaint shops, as well as the Gothic style Minster and the York Castle Museum.

Visit the town of Harrogate (8 miles) for some excellent shopping and Turkish Spa Baths. Step inside the circular front door and into this fantastic open plan space incorporating the lounge, dining space, and kitchen.
