A lovely property surrounded by a large garden within a farm located in the beautiful and quiet village of Thornton Steward. The location is stunning and remote, but only 10 mins drive to the nearest shop. Great place for a large family to gather and to spend time together. Slow broadband meant more board games and garden games which is not a bad thing at all! The kids also loved going to see the resident horse Prince. A good place to reconnect with love ones.

This beautiful house provided enough seating for a family of 7 with a large living/dining room and 4 comfortable bedrooms. Tv however, was disappointingly small and only had 2 children’s channels on Freeview, Wi-Fi was also poor, for twins of 2, but once out and about visiting the surrounding villages, provided excellent entertainment for all, then coming back to the ample BBQ and drinks on the terrace. We all loved it

Myton House was the perfect size for eight adults and one 3yr old. It is very homely & comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen and 4 large bedrooms. The large living/dining room seats everyone comfortably and the jigsaws, books and a couple of children’s toys were a really nice touch. We were lucky to have sunshine so spent most of our time on the terrace when we weren’t out and about. The garden area is huge which is great if you have children with you. The view is beautiful and it was lovely to have a horse (Prince) in the adjacent field. We saw Mr B., the owner/farmer regularly and he was very friendly/helpful. We chose this house because there is no light pollution and no traffic noise and no local amenities. It is the perfect place to get away from it all. We were so happy with the house we’ve already booked again for next year.
