Five mins from sainsburys, or mccolls if you didn’t want to walk up a hill, we were never short for places to visit, or walk, and we enjoyed everything Ripon had to offer. The house has everything you would need for a holiday visit. We were able to cook Sunday lunches and we sat four people down for meals (although we think 5 would be a stretch). The two reclining leather sofas in the lounge are a treat. We had one each! We didn’t get into the rear courtyard to sit until March, but it’s a great space to relax and watch the river pass by. If we were looking for a rental again, we would definitely choose this property.

Very well situated too. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of Ripon, and a short drive to Fountains Abbey, which is well worth a visit.

BBQ which we used as the weather was favourable. Ample room for four adults one three year old and one year old. Recliner sofas were a bonus and very comfy. Highchair, travel cot provided and stair gate at top of stairs, also stops dogs getting into bedrooms if they manage to get through the living room door!!!!.Only suggestion for future, a list of bin collection dates and what items go in each recycling container, we looked on line but not everyone uses the internet. Thanks for a great week away with the family.
