Within the kitchen is a short stairway leading down to the lower ground floor where the beautiful dining room can be found with seating for all guests to dine together in front of the cosy wood burning stove. The charming sitting room boasts a second wood burning stove sitting within a feature stone inglenook fireplace. For less formal dining, the bright breakfast room has dining space for four guests and a door out to the garden. The accommodation further extends to a sunny conservatory with french doors opening out to the rear garden.
Upstairs, three light and airy bedrooms are tastefully decorated, over-looking the rolling countryside towards the village; the master king-size bedroom boasting a spacious en-suite bathroom with free-standing bath and separate walk-in shower; a second king-size bedroom and bathroom featuring the added luxury of a roll-top, claw-foot bath, also with shower; and finally the third double bedroom with stunning views across to the church and family bathroom.The cottage can comfortably accommodate up to six guests, making it ideal for families or a group of friends looking to explore the dramatic and simply breath-taking landscape of North Yorkshire.
The picturesque East Witton has a village pub, The Blue Lion, an 18th century inn, serving mouth-watering food and a range of hand-pulled local ales within enchanting candlelit surroundings.

Please be aware, due to the nature of the property, there are various steps and different levels on both floors.
Throughout the first floor a few rooms have low ceilings.
Due to the rural area, the road in front of the cottage can at times have livestock being moved along it from the local farm.

The village is very pretty and well kept. We enjoyed evensong at the church and a stunning organ concert at York Minster. Evensong at Ripon cathedral was glorious. So many lovely gardens and heritage sites to explore. Barnard Caste is charming. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, attractive and well looked after. The sitting room is rather gloomy. Too many screens in the house. The kitchen deserves re organising.

Lovely cottage presented to a very high standard. Very comfortable, lots of bathrooms and loos and lovely garden. As it was sunny but cold the conservatory was where we spent most of our time_ warm, cosy and comfortable. East Witten is a lovely little village with a great old pub, if not somewhat expensive. A million walks in the Dales within a few minutes drive. 50 minutes to Harrogate and easy reach for Harlow Carr and Betty's cafe there too!!

Newly renovated cottage in excellent condition. Beautifully decorated and furnished with 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so ideal for 3 couples. Lovely location down a country lane with stunning views across fields to the village church but just a 5 minute walk to the local pub/restaurant.
