Eastburn Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and idyllic location in the Yorkshire Dales. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, cosy log burner, and the thoughtful touches from the owners. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the cottage's exceptional cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. This aspect is frequently highlighted as a positive feature of their stay.
The cottage's location is celebrated for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions and walks. The scenic views and quiet village setting contribute to its high rating, despite some guests noting the distance to the nearest town.
Comfort is a standout feature, with guests finding the cottage cosy, warm, and welcoming. The comfortable beds and seating areas are particularly appreciated, although there is a mention of low water pressure in one shower.
The cottage is well-equipped, with a multi-fuel burner, utility room, and lockable shed for bikes. However, some guests mention the lack of instructions for appliances and the need for minor repairs, slightly impacting the score.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through special touches like festive decorations and welcome gifts. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Alison
It was spotless and had everything we needed for our four day stay. The Rayburn heated the cottage, as well as our sausage rolls, really efficiently and made it very cosy. It was lovely to come back to after a day out in the dales. The beds were super comfortable and the two en-suites meant our party each had their own bathroom. I rang the owner for key collection and she was super helpful, giving me all the information I needed for our stay regarding recycling etc. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the dales.

It is in a beautiful setting on a quiet road and for us importantly has an EV charger. Any future visit to the Yorkshire Dales we will aim to stay here.

More information should be left in the cottage regarding recycling and checking out details.
