Sherburn is a village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, though it was historically part of East Riding of Yorkshire until 1974. Sherburn is located on the south side of the Vale of Pickering, immediately north of the Yorkshire Wolds, and within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park. Sherburn is a great base for outdoor adventures in the North Yorkshire countryside, and it's also close to Scarborough and Filey. The village has a Post Office, a pub, a convenience store, and a newsagent, as well as a few other local businesses. The Great Ryedale Maze, North Yorkshire Water Park, Wykeham Lakes Fishery, Playdale Farm Park, Go Ape Dalby, and Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park are all nearby attractions. Spend the day at one of Scarborough's beaches, visit the castle, and sample the excellent food available in the many restaurants and pubs, or head down to Filey and Filey Brigg.

Small but cosy & an added touch of luxury with the hot tub. We had a few daddy long legs lurking in the bath tub when we arrived but everything else was clean, the mattress isnât the greatest and you can feel the springs but we slept ok for the two nights we were there. Overall, I canât fault it for the price, we would return

Very clean and presentable. Also located in a very nice spot. Everything was well maintained including the grounds. But if I could make some suggestions that would improve it. The bed was very low and found it challenging to get in and out of. Also the mattress wasnât very comfortable you could feel the springs through the mattress. Also would suggest putting in a two seater couch instead of a single little chair as you donât want to be lying on the bed all the time especially on days you canât go out much due to bad weather. We would definitely book there again as we loved our stay there.
