This spacious converted stable block has been lovingly decorated and is set within the grounds of the owner’s working farm, with open views of the Yorkshire Wolds. The cottage can offer stabling for your horse, and for the children there is also the opportunity to feed the lambs in springtime. There is a large enclosed patio area ideal for summer barbecues, alternatively Burythorpe (1 mile) has a locally renowned pub. The cottage is ideally located to tour the North York Moors, the seaside resorts on the Yorkshire Coastline and historic York a 20-minute drive away. The property is all on ground floor with wide doorways, making it suitable for the elderly or infirm with wheelchairs.

Wow - what a fabulous cottage and wonderful stay! Pictures do not do it justice - the space is brilliant and the overall feel so comforting.We came with our 4 children, 2 horses and 2 dogs. The owners were so welcoming, and couldn’t do enough to help. They helped make our children’s Christmas exceptional, and offered so much advice on where to ride our horses and walk our dogs. The neighbourhood is so friendly, and there are miles and miles of walk paths - something and somewhere for everyone. We will be booking again VERY soon. Thank you!! X

Honestly had a wonderful stay here, close enough to York but les of the hustle bustle. Beautiful holiday home
