Just spent 4 nights at Smiddy Hill on the run up to Christmas at it was lovely. Right in the heart of Pickering with local pubs and shops on your doorstep. House was lovely and clean and our kids loved how quirky it is set over 4 floors. It's in a great location to explore north Yorkshire, with drives to Whitby and Scarborough etc a nice experience through the Moores. For those concerned the parking for us wasn't an issue with spaces available at Hall Garth. Lovely holiday. Thank you.

Beautifully decorated welcoming cottage. Great location for the NYR, shops, restaurants and public transport. Worth noting that the cottage is situated over three floors with steep steps. Would book again.
