Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, the well-equipped facilities, and the convenient location for exploring the North York Moors and coast. Some mention the lack of a proper shower and the comfort of the double bed as areas for improvement, but overall, the cottage offers a delightful stay in a quiet village with a welcoming local pub.

Guests consistently note the cottage's spotless condition and the clean bed linen and towels provided. The property is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, contributing positively to the overall experience.

The cottage is praised for its peaceful village setting and proximity to local attractions, parks, and the coast. Its location is ideal for exploring the North York Moors, with easy access to nearby towns and historical sites.

While many guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, some report the double bed as being uncomfortable. The warmth of the cottage and the provision of amenities contribute to a comfortable stay, but the bed comfort has room for improvement.

The cottage is well-equipped with cooking facilities, a woodburner, and entertainment options like DVDs and board games. However, several guests mention the absence of a proper shower as a drawback. Overall, the facilities meet the needs of most guests but could be enhanced with a shower installation.

Easy parking in the wide road out front and the local pub is excellent.

Quiet location and not far from all of the delights of North York Moors and surrounding area. Cottage clean and had everything we needed. Bed comfy. Welcome pack of tea, milk, biscuits and fruit appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Well equipped and clean. The thick walls and steep stairs reminded me of my childhood home. We will definitely book again next time we are going to holiday in Yorkshire. The only negative is the mixer tap/shower attachment, which is very difficult to get the right temperature and is affected by anyone else using water anywhere else in the property. As others have said, a shower curtain would be good and would allow for the shower head to be fixed higher up the wall
