While some mention road noise and water pressure issues, these are minor compared to the overall positive experience. The proximity to local attractions and dining options like The Black Bull Inn adds to its charm.

The location is convenient for visiting nearby towns, though some guests note road noise during the day. Its proximity to local dining and attractions is a plus.

The property is described as warm, cosy, and comfortable, with special mention of the comfortable beds and the cosy fire in the living room.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a kitchen that includes an air fryer and slow cooker. However, there are some concerns about water pressure and a sticking front door.

A lovely property. Very clean and well equipped. Beds very comfortable with quality linens and towels. Constant hot water. Lovely welcome pack. Excellent parking right beside the front door. Only minor issue was that the front door was sticking at the bottom and needed a bit of force to open.

Nice house, very dog friendly and good welcome pack. Road noise in daytime but calmed down at night. Plenty of parking and bus to pickering and whitby just outside.

This little house worked perfectly for us with 3 teenage children. I scored it 4 stars as 5 stars may offer those with super high expectations a false impression. The house was warm, cosy and had everything we would want and need. Road noise could be an issue if you are a light sleeper. Children's rooms are at the rear so they should be fine. The owners were always at the end of an email and put some welcome treats and essentials in the cottage upon our arrival which was delightful.
