April Cottage is a detached house in Flixton, a 10 minute drive from Filey and a 20-minute drive from Scarborough. A perfect place for families to come and spend some time together. When night draws in, retire inside and climb upstairs to choose between a zip/link super-king-size with a walk-in wardrobe, a king-size, and single bedroom, all tastefully furnished. Cayton, a small village and civil parish in North Yorkshire's Scarborough district, is ideal for a beach getaway, with a decent range of amenities and attractions both inside the village and in the surrounding area. There are many of hidden jewels to find in the community, which boasts historic traces of its existence during wwii, with coastal erosion pillboxes visible around the area. The village has a fair number of pubs and shops, ideal for a self-catering stay, but Scarborough, a lively resort town with plenty of things to interest all ages, has a larger selection of waterside cafes. Explore the area's rich history at Scarborough Castle and the Rotunda Museum of Geology, or enjoy a conventional day by the sea with a multitude of amusement arcades, ice cream parlours, seafood vendors, and beach huts scattered throughout the town's sandy beaches.
