Guests particularly enjoy the well-maintained hot tub, thoughtful welcome touches, and the opportunity to see alpacas nearby. The property is well-equipped and ideal for relaxing getaways, with friendly and responsive hosts. While some mention minor issues such as parking, outside space, and occasional maintenance needs, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a highly recommended choice for families and groups seeking a restful retreat.

The majority of reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and tidy, with only rare mentions of dust or cobwebs. Guests consistently praise the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The rural location is widely appreciated for its peace, quiet, and beautiful countryside views. Some guests note the approach roads are narrow and winding, and the property is a little remote, but most find the setting ideal for relaxation and exploring local attractions.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as comfortable, warm, and well-furnished, with good beds and a cosy atmosphere. A few minor comments mention lounge heating and the lack of a log burner, but overall comfort is highly rated.

The hot tub is a standout feature, regularly praised for its cleanliness and maintenance. The cottage is well-equipped, though a few guests mention limited kitchen utensils, small freezer, and occasional issues with the games room or showers. Facilities are generally well maintained.

Many guests mention thoughtful welcome touches such as homemade cake, wine, milk, and even dog bowls. While these gifts are frequently appreciated, it should be noted that such extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

The property is fairly spacious and it was certainly sufficient for 6 people (2 adults and 4 kids). The place was clean and beds vere comfortable! As a self catering accommodation the equipment is quite basic and it would be beneficial to add some extra items. Both bathrooms would also benefit from some shelving units as there is no space to keep toiletries. We were visiting during a heatwave and the house, particularly upstairs can get very hot but no fans (or Aircon) is available. The outside space is small, sufficient for sitting and relaxing but children had to go outside the property to play. The garden is in full sun all day and only small umbrella is available; luckily we had our gazebo with us, which protected us from the sun. There is no grass, only stones. Parking is sufficient for two large cars and the place is easy to find on Google Maps. Overall, we had a great stay!
