This inviting, three-bedroom lodge sits on the Cayton Bay Holiday Park, just paces away from the golden sands of Cayton Bay. Beech 4 benefits from a welcoming, open-plan interior complimented by three charming bedrooms, providing an excellent abode for a family or group of friends. After a day of exploring, kick back on the settee and choose a film from the Smart TV, reflecting on the day’s activities. Cross the threshold into the kitchen, where you can show off your culinary skills with a hearty dish, to be served at the dining table. Alternatively, take the evening outside and enjoy alfresco dining from the patio furniture, catching the last of evening sun. When the night draws in, wash off the day’s adventures in the shower room before sloping off to sleep in either the double or twin rooms. When you’re ready to explore, wander to the shores of Cayton Bay and soak up the scene, paddle in the shores and watch over as the little ones construct sandcastles, or simply wander along the shore and appreciate the fresh sea air. Scarborough is four miles away and offers lots to see; discover Italian Gardens, Scarborough South Cliff Golf Club, ideal for testing out your swing, Rotunda Museum of Coastal Heritage and Geology and the magnificent Scarborough Castle, boasting stunning scenery that stretches along the coastline. Meet exotic wildlife at Bridlington Animal Park, hike along the dramatic cliff tops of the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast or simply enjoy a portion of fish and chips along the promenade. Travel the length of the North York Moors National Park, home to the Mallyan Spout Waterfall, the Hole of Horcum, and the National Yorkshire Moors Railway, whilst the Cleveland Way and Cinder Track are a must for those keen cyclists. Experience the very best of North Yorkshire with a stay at Beech 4.
Cayton, a small village and civil parish in North Yorkshire's Scarborough district, is a great place for a beach getaway because it has a decent selection of services and attractions both inside the village and nearby. There are many undiscovered treasures in the settlement, which has historical relics from the Second World War, including pillboxes that have been eroded by the sea. The village has a nice number of pubs and stores that are ideal for a self-catered stay, but you can find a larger selection of waterfront restaurants in the neighbouring resort town of Scarborough, which is packed with activities for visitors of all ages. Enjoy a conventional day by the sea with a variety of sites to remember including amusement arcades, ice cream parlours, seafood shops, and beach huts all nestled around the town's sandy beaches. Discover the area's rich history at Scarborough Castle and the Rotunda Museum of Geology. Enjoy a peaceful stroll through Peasholm Park, or set out on an even more wonderful outdoor adventure through the North York Moors National Park, which is home to one of the largest stretches of heather moorland. Here, you can find remarkable landscapes, wonderful wildlife, and plenty of heritage delights all scattered around a range of walking and cycling routes for people of all abilities. While on vacation in the village of Cayton, which is accessible from Filey, Flamborough, and Malton as well, there is much to discover.

Every basic need was accounted for- we holiday frequently in vans around this area and this is the first time most of the gear we take for day to day life was supplied(still used our stuff for the majority but it really was appreciated). Van was spotless on arrival, instructions clearly marked and easy to follow- not a single complaint nor even a minor niggle as far as the van goes- kids were a tad disappointed at the site wifi signal strength and restrictions(but thats on Parkdean, not the van-they really need to modernise their system!) but this was the tiniest of things-most other sites have no wifi at all so they made do when required.Cannot recommend this van enough, nor praise the owners for everything-made our break even more enjoyable. Awesome, fantastic, brilliant, beautifully kept...11/10 stars..
