The town centre is a short stroll, where you will find plenty of restaurants, shops, bars and the Stephen Joseph theatre, famous for its world premieres of most of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays.

Just been to this cottage for the second time as our autistic grandson feels very safe and calm here.

We really enjoyed this cottage. It was very well equipped and comfortable. Also lovely and warm! It is at the top of a very steep hill so not good if you have mobility issues. Great value for money and the garden would be fantastic in the Summer.

A lovely comfortable home from home. The location is perfect for exploring Scarborough - both bays and town centre easily reached on foot ( a bit hilly, but doable if you pick your route ). Beds very comfy. We stayed over Christmas and the house was decorated for us with a lovely tree, some complimentary fizz and a christmas card waiting for us! Only marking down a star because we had some difficulty with the parking spaces at the property (we came in two fairly large cars) but with street permits also included this wasn't really a problem, and the oven wasn't ideal for cooking turkey and all the trimmings, but I'm sure most holiday makers won't have to face that particular problem! The fridge freezer and extra sink and worktop space in the utility room were very useful, however. Overall we had a great stay!
