Property cheaply furnished beds incredibly uncomfortable, spotlessly clean just cheap mattresses on both beds. Lounge sofas unyielding. The property was clean just grubby needed a repaint walls badly marked. The shower in the upstairs bathroom has been leaking so long there was scale build up all down the tiles and thick black mould behind the taps, no bath mat for the floor, although there was one downstairs. We were offered fresh bedding for the 2nd week, and we had fresh towels. BUT the very worst part was road noise that went on all day and all night even though the property was down a lane the traffic noise was intrusive. They could do with some charging sockets too. We met both the owners and they were really lovely. The general location was good for visiting the area, very central And we will definitely go back to the area, just not to this property.

A comfortable and enjoyable stay thank you. Welcoming and helpful owners. The Scarborough to Whitby bus stop is at the end of the drive and connects with Scarborough station, buses every 30 minutes in season. Good pubs and easy walks close by.The main road is very busy but the sound does not penetrate into the barn.Parking could be tight for very large cars but is manageable.

Lovely little find, nice accommodation, everything we needed, Paul even let us have the patio door key for the downstairs bedroom as mum is disabled. Loved the welcome pack and so did the dogs with the treats and mum with the Yorkshire tea. Ideal for local areas such as Whitby, Scarborough etc, lovely local pubs especially the three Jolly Sailors. Ideally situated for the cinder path (lovely dog walk ) and the Wyke. Will definitely consider again if we are in the area.
