Just a ten-minute walk from North Bay Beach, Peasholm Park, Scarborough Open Air Theatre and the North Bay Railway, the house is particularly well suited to larger family gatherings, celebrations and groups of friends who want plenty of room to spend time together without everyone having to occupy the same space.
For something extra during your stay, a range of optional concierge experiences can also be arranged, including private chefs, cocktail-making classes, murder mystery evenings, casino nights and pampering treatments — ideal if you are celebrating a special birthday, anniversary or simply want to make the weekend a little more memorable.
On arrival, there is off-road parking for three cars, four depending on vehicle size, together with an electric vehicle charging point.
Inside, the main sitting room provides a comfortable place to gather, with sofas, a 50-inch Smart TV, DVD player, books and an open-flame gas fire for cooler evenings.
One of North Beach Lodge’s real strengths is its choice of separate living spaces. The ground-floor garden room leads directly to the hot tub patio and has its own 50-inch Smart TV, while a small first-floor snug provides another quieter retreat. On the second floor, the Teen TV Den gives younger members of the group their own space to watch TV, relax and escape the adults for a while — quite possibly a benefit to both parties.
The spacious contemporary kitchen is designed with large groups in mind and includes two electric double ovens, a five-zone induction hob, American-style fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with a separate utility room providing a washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
Once dinner is ready, everyone can sit down together in the dining room, with seating for all 16 guests. The adjoining bar area makes this a natural social space for drinks, games and long evenings around the table.
For a little friendly competition, head upstairs to the games room, where you will find table football, darts and a selection of games.
At the end of the day, choose from eight bedrooms arranged across the first and second floors.
Six bedrooms within the main house benefit from their own en-suite shower rooms. On the first floor are a king-size bedroom with large bay windows and en-suite shower room, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.
The second floor provides another king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, a double with en-suite shower room and a further twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.
There are two additional bedrooms in the rear first floor extension — one king-size and one double — which have access to the nearby family bathroom.
An additional cloakroom on the ground floor provides extra convenience for larger groups.
Outside, relax in the private hot tub on the enclosed rear patio or enjoy the first-floor terrace, a lovely spot for drinks or alfresco dining in warmer weather.

The house is warm and comfortable and it was good to have en suites in most of the bedrooms. The park, beach and handy corner shop are just a short walk away. The only downside was the tv controls which didnât work very well.

Fanstastic property, near to local conveniences , comfortable and clean only downfall is it needed more toilet roll as we had to go and buy more as there were 16 of us â¦
