At Lady Edith’s Holiday Park you have a welcoming family friendly bar next to a play area, making this fun for everyone. You can also purchase a fishing permit for the local mere or explore the nearby woodland.
In Scarborough there are two bays. North Bay Beach sweeps in a crescent lined with colourful beach huts with the Sea Life Centre at the far end. You can walk from the North Bay all the way along the promenade to the busier South Bay. At the south bay you have all the fun of a traditional seaside holiday with arcades as well as many cafés, restaurants, bars and shops to visit. Both bays have lovely, large sandy beaches. There is also Scarborough Castle which stands on the cliff top between the two bays, as well as the casino and the funfair on the seafront.
Peasholm Park is wonderful to discover, you can hire pedalos and rowing boats to go around the lake and see the stunning oriental gardens. Scarborough is famous for its theatres. There is an outdoor theatre which stages concerts by some of music’s big names, and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is famous for the premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays. The Alpamare waterpark is great for all ages, with its fantastic wave pool and waterslides, as well as a large heated outdoor infinity pool. Keep younger children entertained with the ’splash and play’ area. For adults there is a spa where you can relax and be pampered. The heated outdoor pools are warm enough to enjoy through all of the seasons.
Further along the coast you also have Ravenscar, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Bridlington to discover. There is so much to see and do you are sure to be spoilt for choice. Beach 3 miles.

Specifically searched for cottage with hot tub for my husband’s birthday just for two nights. Advertised as private hot tub although no photos of tub which is anything but private and the screen which belongs in Drs surgery really didn’t help and kept blowing over. The tub hadn’t been turned on or cleaned for our arrival. We made owners aware and they kindly came next day and sorted it. Very nice people and apologetic. The caravan itself was well equipped, clean and comfortable but you pay more for the privilege of a hot tub so overall quite disappointed.

Lodge was clean and met all our needs.Owners were very friendly & went above and beyond, showing us where nearest supermarket was. Hot tub was excellent and warm and ready to use on our arrival.Would highly recommend lodge as a place to stay.

A good place for a quiet break Lacking kitchen utensils was a issue had to buy some pans , not enough to cook a full meal . The hot tub screen wow no use at all but otherwise it's a nice relaxing quiet place to come stay .
