All the cottages are finished with fixtures and fittings of the very highest standard and have open-plan dining. Some have en-suite bedrooms. They offer an ideal location from which to explore both the North York Moors National Park and the glorious Heritage Coast of Yorkshire.

Just had a great weekend here with family to celebrate my 60th birthday. The accommodation was fantastic for our family of 6 adults, 2 children & a babyThere was everything you needed in the kitchen (kitchen roll would be a good extra) The children’s play area was great for our granddaughters & the walks down to the cliff tops were beautiful Will definitely be returning

Stayed at the Barn 3 times now and stayed at some of the others too.Although its a short drive into Scarborough, its worth it for the peace and quiet you get at Scalby Lodge.The Barn has a decent enclosed garden at the back, and 2 fridges inside (required for 10 people staying there)The only negative thing I would say and its only minor! the couches although very comfy are filled with feathers which seem to come out lot (said it was only minor!)
