We have stayed at the cottages several times and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately this time when using the fire the whole place filled with smoke and everything we had taken smelt of bonfire. Was told when reporting it that it is due to wind direction and the flue not being able to drawer the smoke although no where in any of the info did it advise not to use the log burner. Would never have used it if this was possible. Had to sit with the door open all evening as was concerned about our chests/the smell.
