Beautiful cottage in a great location for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and the coast. In between Scarborough and Whitby, there’s a lovely circular coastal walk pretty much straight from the cottage. The Old Barn is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable with all you need for your stay. The Hot Tub was amazing (it’s very hot!). We stayed for 4 nights and throughly enjoyed it despite the rainy weather, but it was November.

Went for a surprise for my husbands 60th birthday with some friends and family. Really lovely cottage in a lovely village ,The blacksmith is excellent for food and drink and very friendly. The cottage is great but cleaning is a lot to be desired, there is cobwebs everywhere even on chair legs and at the side of the sink in the bedroom upstairs. I think it really needs a deep clean under the cushions on the settee was disgusting . Hot tub was great but there a lot of road noise.
