Thoughtfully laid out, the lodge features two spacious bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double, each with its own stylish ensuite shower room, providing privacy and convenience for all guests.The heart of the lodge is its bright and airy open-plan living space, where a cosy lounge, well-equipped kitchen, and relaxed dining area come together to create a sociable and comfortable environment. We have an exciting relaunched cafe/bar on the premises and is open from 10am-8pm weekdays and 9.30am-4pm weekends. We are liscenced and have a great Pizza menu served from 3pm-8pm weekdays, no need to book just rollup and enjoy!

The Eighth Lodge was well equipped, very comfortable, had extra touches included such as robes, slippers, towels & sleep well/toiletry kits. The lodge overlooked the golf course but had opaque glass for privacy around the hot tub. Good location & handy for visits to Dalby Forest & Scarborough & Whitby was approx 40 min drive away too. Wet enjoyable break & good value for money of Easter holidays.I would recommend the lodge to either a family or two couples as en suite bathroom for both bedrooms.

Great location for visiting Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington and York.Hot tub was great. With added bonus of robes and slippers. Welcome pack had three dishwasher tablets and two bin bags to get started. Bathrooms had the vanity kits and two toilet rolls in each. There was also two towels per guest. We tried out the cafe. Pizza was lovely. Would have liked some hooks or coat stand for coats. This obviously would not be an issue in hotter weather. Heating did appear to be set to automatically come on for 21 degrees Celsius which was too hot for us. We had to keep changing the thermostat to lower temperature to avoid a sauna. There was a dishwasher which was nice and does not appear to be on the description of the lodge. There was no room in lodge for washing machine but a laundrette on site would be nice to wash any wet bathers used in hot tub. All in all good value for money.
