Broomhill View is a charming cottage praised for its prime location and cleanliness. Guests appreciate its proximity to local amenities and the seafront, making it an ideal spot for exploring. While some found the property cosy and well-equipped, others noted issues with comfort, such as the bed quality and the temperature during colder months. The lack of a hairdryer and corkscrew was mentioned, and the distance to parking was a concern for some. Despite this, many guests enjoyed their stay and recommended the cottage.
The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as spotless and well-maintained. This indicates a strong attention to cleanliness from the owners.
The location is highly praised for being on the High Street, close to shops, pubs, and the seafront, making it an excellent base for exploring. The steep walk to parking is noted, but does not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests found the beds comfy and the cottage cosy, others reported discomfort with the beds and issues with heating. The inconvenience of the bathroom being two flights down from the bedrooms was also mentioned.
Facilities are generally adequate, but several guests reported missing items such as a corkscrew and hairdryer, and some had issues with heating and kitchen equipment. Maintenance concerns were raised, affecting the score.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owners. Without such references, it is not possible to assess this category.

.everything was at hand in the cottage in a perfect spot close to the harbour and all local facilities...really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return..

Bedding was white and very clean (better than in the photos). Only complaint was I could hear a dripping noise in the main bedroom all night from the boiler below. I put some white noise on my phone which helped. We really enjoyed our stay. Brilliant location in Staithes!

Cons: LOUNGE - Tired, lounge furniture and soft furnishings (cushions, throws etc). - In much need of decorating. KITCHEN - No hand soap (basic requirement) - Only two wine glasses, we had to borrow two more form the pub (basic requirement). - No salt and pepper (basic requirement) - No large saucepan. - No cleaning fluid. - No kitchen roll. BATHROOM - No hand soap (basic requirement). - Shower - although hot, the flo was weak. ATTIC BEDROOM - Bedside light on left-hand-side not working. FIRST FLOOR BEDROOM - Single bed on right, mattress needs replacing, as lost all firmness. HALL/STAIRWAYS - All carpets need cleaning. -------------------------------------------- Pros: - Great location. - Nice, clean bathroom - Great working fireplace - Warm - when storage heaters up and running. - Nice attic bedroom I would stay there again if all my points were addressed.
