Would recommend a better external light outside the front door as couldn't see a thing arriving in the dark and the front steps were bit iffy as couldn't see anything. Would mention in the property details that wood for the wood burner are not included so could come prepared. No laundry bag in twin room for bed linen when we left. But otherwise, a fabulous cottage.

Enjoyed the cottage, the pub opposite, and the walks etc nearby. Also appreciated the nice crockery and the good sharp knives in the well equipped kitchen. We really lacked for nothing. The only slight nuisance was check in at 4pm and check out at 10am meaning we lost the majority of a day. The list of requested household chores before leaving meant having to get up, shower, have breakfast early on our last day. If nobody following straight away, noon would have been kinder but perhaps there were back to back bookings. We have already told our friends, and we would go back again. Thank you.
