Your shepherd's hut is tucked away within the nature reserve and reached by a short woodland walk. Follow the winding path through the trees, listen to the birdsong, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy leaving the everyday world behind for a while.
The route includes an inclined woodland path, so we recommend sensible footwear, especially in wetter weather. For evening arrivals, the walk becomes part of the adventure, with lanterns and torches provided to help guide the way.
To make things easier, you'll also find a pull-along trolley available for luggage and supplies.

The warm wooden interior is fully insulated, making it suitable for year-round stays, and includes heating, lighting, a TV, microwave, kettle, air fryer and fridge. There is also a fully fitted bathroom with a hot shower, with towels provided for added convenience.
Outside, guests can relax in the private seating area and make the most of the peaceful setting. A BBQ is available for outdoor dining, while an additional outdoor toilet cubicle with a tin bath and cold shower adds a unique touch to the countryside experience. For those looking to truly unwind, a wood-fired sauna is available at an extra charge, offering the perfect way to relax after a day exploring the nature reserve.
