Guests say

Rocklyn Lodge is consistently praised for its stunning views, spaciousness, and high-quality furnishings. Guests appreciate the meticulous cleanliness, the generous welcome pack, and the property's proximity to the sea and local attractions. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds enhance the stay, while the thoughtful touches from the owners contribute to an exceptional holiday experience.

Guests have highlighted the property as 'meticulously clean' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness. One minor issue with a stained sheet was mentioned, but this seems to be an isolated incident.

The location is highly praised for its stunning sea views and proximity to the harbour town. It is described as perfect and quiet, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere.

The property is repeatedly described as comfortable, with very comfortable beds and a relaxing setting. There was a minor comment about low settees, but overall, comfort levels are rated very highly.

Facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with contemporary appliances and a well-appointed kitchen. However, there were minor issues with the wood burner not being cleaned and the central heating settings, which suggest room for improvement in maintenance.

The owners are commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly regarding the welcome pack. While such gifts are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that they are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

Lovely well equipped spacious property. Comfy bed, although settees are a little low. Only little negatives - stained sheet on arrival, wood burner had not been cleaned out or reset and there was no kindling, tongs and brush. The central heating had only been set for one hour very early in the morning, so when we arrived the house was very cold. Bathroom windows really need blinds. Overall a fabulous stay - we really did not want to leave.

We have stayed in many cottages over the years but this place is head and shoulders above anywhere we have stayed previously. The pictures do not do justice to this marvellous home. Every thing you could need has been provided including the biggest welcome package I have seen - bread, milk, tea, coffee, butter, cake etc etc. The whole house is spotlessly clean and the views from the balcony …..wow The only negative I can think of is the fact we had to leave it behind after our stay. We can’t wait to return next year.

It is top class and found it very comfortable, there was a welcome pack with good Irish fare as well as milk, cheese and butter in the fridge was just what we needed after a long day to get there. The kitchen was very well appointed with top of the range appliances. All the rooms were very comfortable and the views from the balcony were fantastic, we spent quite a few hours just watching the sunrise and sunsets. Would definitely go ago.
