Placed on the Antrim coast, on a clear day you can see Mull of Kintyre of Scotland off in the distance as well as Rathlin Island which you can get a ferry to. From Ballycastle you can travel in either direction along the coast and see stunning scenery. The town is home to a golf course, a Blue Flag beach and a range of local shops and eateries for you to try out. The local area also offers the likes of Fair Head, Murlough Bay and Kinbane Castle for you to visit. With easy access to other popular locations such as Portrush, the Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the Bushmills Distillery and Belfast, Ballycastle is ideal for those who want to pack as much into their trip as possible.
