With stunning views of Cushendun Bay, this welcoming cottage is a wonderful escape for large families or a group of up to eight friends. With spacious rooms, an open fire and a garden offering al fresco dining, it’s an ideal base from which to explore the spectacular scenery of the Causeway Coast and Glens.

A peaceful atmosphere pervades this lovely property, with warm wood and pale colours setting a tranquil tone. Feel truly relaxed as you gather around the fireplace in the cosy lounge, perhaps watching a DVD together, browsing a book from the shelves or simply relishing the incredible views. In the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner, you’ll have the benefit of a microwave to speed up cooking and a dishwasher for cleaning up. Sit around the dining table for meals, board games or examining maps. All four bedrooms are spacious and have wooden floors as well as carefully coordinated decor. The family bathroom is on the ground floor, along with a double and a twin bedroom, while the other two bedrooms – which have areas of sloping ceiling - are on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms benefit from an en-suite shower room. As for outside space, enjoy sea views from the patio as you grill something tasty on the BBQ, and there’s also a shared, partially enclosed lawn where dogs or children can run and play.

The charming conservation village of Cushendun is about 1.5 miles away, packed with architectural heritage and boasting a beautiful beach, a golf club, independent shops and friendly pubs. The dramatic ruins of Red Bay Castle, with beautiful views from the top of a steep hill, are 3 miles along the coast. For a woodland walk – and perhaps some glimpses of red squirrels - the Cregagh Wood Nature Reserve is also 3 miles away.
