The cottage is consistently described as clean and tidy upon arrival, with many guests highlighting its superb cleanliness. However, a few reviews mention a musty smell and suggest a need for deeper maintenance, slightly affecting the score.

The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions and amenities. It serves as a great base for touring the area. Some guests, however, mention the proximity to a busy road and lack of safe walking paths, which slightly impacts the score.

We’d booked it at least 6 weeks prior to the stay. With deposit. All fine. Lovely comfortable cottage as advertised. Please do publish my feedback. Please publish that the most annoying thing was having to read a generic email from Hogans telling me what to do, and how I should leave the property when I leave. This was emailed to me the day before I was due to leave the property… It kind of spoiled the trip reading through t&cs It made Hogans sound desperate!!! Strange that Hogans should choose to email tenants to remind them how to ‘check out’ Sour taste left. I’ll book elsewhere next time

Cottage is so cute and easy to find with directions provided. Very close to local village with shops etc. Spotlessly clean on our arrival and the information book provided was great. The shower controls could do with being replaced as the temperature one is hard to work and extra towels would be great for guests staying more than 2 nights. Really minor feedback on as this cottage is really special!
