Ballymena is an old town situated between the more modern Ballymoney and the thriving city of Belfast. The town was established in the 17th century, and it has maintained its tradition of holding weekly Saturday markets, which attract a wide variety of merchants from the surrounding area. It is also home to the Mid-Antrim Museum, which features a theatre with seating for four hundred visitors in a modern glass structure. Walks along the Braid River and through People's Park are also popular activities for tourists. If you're in the mood for a night out and don't feel like cooking, you can choose from the town's many cafes, restaurants, and pubs like The Smoking Monkey Bar & Grill and The Blackstone Bar. Belfast, the capital, is conveniently located not far from town, and it is home to many fascinating historical sites, such as the Ulster Museum, the Titanic Museum, and the infamous Crumlin Road Gaol. It was a great idea cause everything was shut down and was able to visit some friends in the process. The accommodation is by far one of my favorite spots and to top it off the massage chair was my best friend that week. The owner is lovely and has done a fantastic jobs decorating the space.
