The cottage is situated on a farm with great views. I especially liked the conservatory. It was very comfortable and clean. There are lots of castles in the area and the transport museum in Alford is worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our week at Guise Cottage. It was ideally located for our main activities: hill walking and visiting Gardens. The facilities at the cottage were fine; the only slight drawback was having to go downstairs from our bedroom to visit the toilet. We have already recommended it to other people.

Comfortable, clean and cosy cottage in a beautiful setting. The views over the farm and surrounding countryside from the sun room were lovely. Alford is close by with a few shops, bakery, bistro, petrol station and pub.
