You can visit the Royal Highland summer residence of Balmoral, taste the whisky at the local distillery and enjoy the magnificent scenery surrounding this delightful town. The property has off-road parking for two cars. The front door leads to a small entrance hall. The downstairs offers an open-plan living, dining, kitchen area, great for socialising and enjoying time with family and friends. A large corner sofa, TV and WiFi ensure this is a great place to relax. The newly fitted kitchen has everything you need with a double oven and combi oven, electric hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A well-placed dining table offers a place for everyone to enjoy a family meal, play a game or two or chat about the day’s events over a refreshing drink. Upstairs there are two well-appointed bedrooms one with a king-size double bed, one with twin zip and link beds that can be put together to make a further king if required. The rear door on ground level leads onto an enclosed garden with a lawned area, as well as a shed to lock away bikes or golf equipment. The Victorian town of Ballater has been a popular tourist location since Queen Victoria first visited, the old station has recently been renovated to house the local Tourist Information Centre plus a delightful tearoom. With the whisky trail and castle trail also on your doorstep you will never be short of something to do. Take a drive up Glen Shee for some breath-taking scenic views, try a 4X4 Safari and discover red deer, plus a host of wild birds and wildlife native to these mountains. In the winter months skiing and snow-boarding is a popular outdoor sport with two ski resorts Glen Shee and Lecht close by.
