South Lodge has got spacious accommodation. When we arrived there was snow on the ground outside and the lodge was cold as the heating was not on - we turned it on before we went out to visit relatives in the area. On returning it was still very cold in some rooms and we contacted the house keeper the following morning who came round to check the system and dropped off additional electric heaters for the rooms that remained cold after which the property was nice and toasty for the February weather. Thank you to Fiona for promptly sorting.The accommodation itself is down a private road which could do with some maintenance in places
