We had a wonderful week staying at The Mains of Durn cottage. Michael and Susan were so welcoming and helpful.Everything in the cottage is done to such high quality. The beds were so comfortable as was the sofa. The shower is fantastic. Everything is so well thought through, from Alexa playing in the bathrooms, to a game of Space invaders!! The perfectly safe and pretty enclosed garden for our dog was another big plus. Everything was ticked off on our wishlist. The shore Inn is a real local welcoming pub in Portsoy harbour, for a pint after walking on the beautiful nearby beaches.. we would 100% recommend this cottage. Thank you. 😊

Beautiful cottage. Very clean, lovely and peaceful. Just outside Portsoy. Owners Susan and Michael so very helpful nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend a stay at Durn cottage. Will definitely book to stay again in the future.

The website does not do this cottage justice. It is a hundred times better in real life. The whole cottage is pure luxury. Everything has been thought of. Alexia in the bathrooms, underfloor heating, beautiful dog safe garden. A lovely walk into Portsoy and also country walks and seaside walks within 10 minutes. The owners were there if you needed them but left you alone if you didn't need anything. I would 100 percent recommend this cottage, you won't regret it.
