Guests say

Guests consistently praise Drumrunie for its comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, stunning garden, and beautiful views. The property's location in Braemar is appreciated for its convenience and proximity to local amenities and scenic walks. The presence of wildlife, including red squirrels, adds to the charm. The house is noted for its spaciousness, making it ideal for large groups and families.

Most reviews reflect satisfaction with the property's cleanliness, though one review marked it slightly lower in comparison to a hotel, due to the allowance of kids and dogs. Overall, the property seems to maintain a good standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views, proximity to local shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as the ease of access to walking trails and nature. The convenience and beauty of the location contribute to its high rating.

Guests find the house very comfortable, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a cosy atmosphere. The conservatory is a favourite spot for relaxation, and the property is well-suited for both adults and children.

The property is well-equipped with kitchen utensils, toys for children, and garden furniture. The presence of two dishwashers and a well-stocked kitchen is noted. However, some guests had difficulty operating the oven due to worn control symbols, slightly affecting the score.

While the reviews frequently mention the property's well-equipped nature and the owner's helpfulness, there are no specific references to gifts or special touches that would fall under 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, this score is set to null.

I would highly recommend holidaying here.

  • Clare

Red squirrels and woodpeckers seen daily at the bird feeders outside. (Only slight issue was that our 7-year-old fell out of the top bunk on her first night - the bunk doesn't have a high side around it. She ended up spending the rest of the holiday sleeping on the floor

The house was so comfortable and spacious, the garden and wildlife were a joy.
