Lots of walks and plenty to do in the local area. The residents very friendly. This property was very clean, rooms in very good condition, with an enclosed garden for the dog. Heating was more than adequate. If any criticism the dish washer was broken awaiting parts or replacement, although the living room had a nice smart tv, it was not connected to an aerial or dish, couldn’t access most of the tv services. Some kitchen items could be replaced. None of these points would stop recommending this property and they are all easy fixes.

It would really benefit having live TV although we did connect our laptop with Sky Go. Some kitchen utensils could do with replacing as looked a bit rusty and a matching set of new crockery would improve things too. Hope to return one day.

The locals are friendly and the Fu Cheng takeaway very good. The double bed was comfortable but there was a musty smell and one of the towels had a hole in it. I wasn't happy with the state of some of the kitchen equipment and utensils they were grubby and I had to wash everything prior to use. With the lack of a dishwasher a dish drainer as well as tea towels would have been helpful. There was no bread or carving knives. A clock other than the oven clock and a radio in the kitchen would be nice. I think more attention to detail is needed to make this a home from home.
