Uppermill farm cottage is a pretty little annex with all the things you need for a get away. Nicely located. My only issue was that the toilet and shower is located on the ground floor and while this might be ok for agile people its an issue for those of us with limited mobility. The advert states that this facility is on the ground floor but I feel it should be made clear in advert that perhaps this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues. A statement emphasising bathroom and toilet on ground floor and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues would be advised.

Firstly Jean and David are a lovely couple who will make you most welcome. Located on a working farm close to Tarves, Oldmeldrum and Methlick, it's a handy place to explore Aberdeenshire but you will need to drive for amenities. We received milk and delicious shortbread as a welcome and there is coffee and condiments in the kitchen cupboards. Only things lacking that I use regularly are a dishwasher and an air fryer. You have access to their lovely garden and to the garden furniture if the weather allows. There is a Sky package on the TV with sports on it so I got to enjoy TNT Sports and the bike racing. Would I return - Yes!
