What a wonderful stay at Longcroft cottage. We arrived in the middle of the heaviest snow that Aberdeenshire had had in many years! Karen had sent us an email to advise us to go a better way to the cottage to avoid getting stuck, but we didn’t read it as we were in a rush-and you guessed it- we got stuck! Thankfully Karen and Dave came to our rescue on a quad bike and well prepared and spent 2 hours getting us out. My wife got a ride on the back of Karen’s quad- much to her excitement while Dave guided us back down the lane and digging us out. The cottage is immaculate and we’ve never stayed anywhere so well stocked and thought out, Karen even made sure the kettle was boiled before rescuing us! Everything you could think of is there, and lovely Scottish treats on arrival. We had a lovely stay - so peaceful (I think our children were the loudest thing in the village!) and Karen was only a text away with any questions etc. Many thanks Karen and Dave! Core memories were made.

We had a lovely couple of weeks over Christmas staying in this beautiful cottage. The owners are very friendly and the cottage location is stunning. There are lots of country walks nearby and beaches in the area. There are also loads of actives to do in Inverurie and Aberdeen including bowling, restaurants and museums. This was our third visit and we are looking forward to the next.
