To make the most of the area, bringing your own transport is highly recommended. Guests can visit Haddo House, Pitmedden and Tolquhon Castle, as well as many historical stone circles. We stayed here for a week, and found it to be a fantastic place for a base to see lots of of what Aberdeenshire has to offer. The owners are very friendly with lots of knowledge of the local area. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in this area. It's a very spacious cottage, very clean with everything you would need
