The property also features a bathroom on the first floor. The properties garden and woodland are contained within hedges and trees which also include a picnic table and BBQ. Loch of Lintrathen is a short stroll through the woodland and offers a boat house with fishing from boats (with a permit). You are also welcome to kayak, canoe and swim in the Loch. Kirriemuir also boasts Glamis Castle, an aviation museum as well as the splendid Pictish Stones at Meigle. The owner of west lodge has made us aware the new check in time will be 5pm for the foreseeable future, this is to create more time in between bookings to clean and sanitize the property.
The owner has also requested that guests bring their own bed linen and towels (duvets, mattress and pillow protectors will be provided) the owner feels this is the safest route to take given the current situation, If there are any issues surrounding this request, please contact us.
Please Note: As from January 2023, linen will be provided, guests will need to bring their own towels.
Please note: There is now an EV charging point at this property-please notify owner if this is needed.

The house is larger than expected and the land around it is enormous. The house is nicely screened and offers a lot of privacy. The interior space is enormous. The seats in the living room are great. The facilities are more than fine. The beds are good. Toilet directly at the downstairs bedroom is a plus. The place is a good base to explore the area where there is also plenty to do. The owners are approachable and friendly. There are a few small points of attention that deserve some attention. I would have the gutters emptied and there are a lot of cobwebs on the window frames (on the outside). However, these are very minor things.

Just the two of us (+dog) but this property will easily accommodate 6 people. Owner was in touch prior to stay to ensure we would have everything we required. Great location, peaceful with good access to various local attractions. Would definitely book again.
