Wildlife watching, photography, botany and bird-spotting are all popular pursuits in this unspoilt landscape, while fishing for salmon is available on the nearby North and South Esks. Golfers are well catered for, with Kirriemuir Golf Club and Forfar Golf Club both within easy driving distance.
The lively market town of Kirriemuir, known as the “Gateway to the Glens”, lies around 30 minutes away and offers shops, cafés and local attractions.
