I really enjoyed my week here, quiet and relaxing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is stocked with all you need. Could do with a new sofa, but it did the job. Location is superb, lots of walking and a fantastic castle just down the road. The tour of their castle was fantastic. I would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to just chill for a while.

What an amazing place to stay - a 14th century castle! The owner, Robbie, is passionate about the place and kindly gave us a tour of the castle that he and his wife have lovingly restored over many years. We managed to visit during a week of heavy snow and were snowed in for a couple of days but there are lovely walks from the door along the coast and the village has a well-stocked shop. The apartment has a warm and cosy open plan living/dining/kitchen, a large bathroom (with underfloor heating!) and a big bedroom. The bedroom was on the cool side with just a plug in electric heater but the owners had thoughtfully provided an electric blanket which was much appreciated. Good wi-fi and a large TV screen for the dark evenings on our mid-winter visit. The location is fantastic for visiting the attractions of the area. We had a brilliant week, thank you Robbie for your hospitality!
