Stronafian House is a spacious and beautifully furnished cottage, ideal for families and groups seeking peace and relaxation in a scenic, tranquil setting. Guests consistently praise the well-equipped kitchen, en-suite bedrooms, and ample entertainment options such as games and books. The house is clean, comfortable, and perfect for both sunny and rainy days. While the remote location offers stunning countryside views and privacy, a car is essential for exploring the area. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but overall, guests thoroughly enjoyed their stays and would happily return.
Multiple reviews highlight the house as very clean and well maintained, with no significant complaints about cleanliness. Only one review mentioned water staining on a ceiling, but this did not appear to be a widespread issue.
The location is described as beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for those seeking tranquillity. However, it is remote, requiring a car for access to shops and attractions, and one guest felt the location could have been better explained.
Guests found the house spacious, warm, and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms in all bedrooms and plenty of space for relaxation. One review mentioned duvets being too warm and some issues with conservatory temperature, but overall comfort was highly rated.
The property is praised for its excellent facilities, including a fully equipped kitchen, games room, books, toys, and en-suite bathrooms. Some maintenance concerns were raised about windows, conservatory access, and a broken chair, but these were not common across reviews.
Guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as a well-equipped kitchen, entertainment options, and kind, considerate owners. While some reviews mention the owners' kindness, gifts or extras are not guaranteed for all guests.

Downstairs toilets are set to high from floor level, my granddaughter could not use.Only one door in and out , In the conservatory, only could open 1 window and no doors , so too hot to sit in.Said do not use heaters in conservatory if it was cold!!!!So didn’t use that room at all.Bedroom with separate stairs we didn’t want to use re bad water staining on ceiling right above bed, unknown if leak had been fixed. All windows are a death trap for fingers when shutting, likely to get fingers trapped.Duvets were too high tog and so hot to sleep even when windows open. It’s very dangerous re fire hazard to have windows like these and only one door to use.I will be contacting you for sum form of refunding.Says on add conservatory to use, but can’t!Could not use balcony either , not available to open doors. How do you think we felt , when we pay upfront, and we don’t get exactly what was promised.
