Guests say

Ardlarach Lodge is highly praised for its stunning views, peaceful location, and comfortable accommodation. Guests consistently commend the well-equipped property and the warm welcome they receive. The natural beauty of the area, including wildlife sightings and scenic walks, contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. While most experiences are positive, a few guests mention issues with cleanliness and maintenance that could be improved.

Most guests found Ardlarach Lodge to be clean and comfortable. However, there were a couple of mentions of cleanliness issues, particularly in the kitchen and with some of the amenities like the fridge and laundry machine. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.

The location of Ardlarach Lodge is consistently lauded for its tranquillity, stunning views, and proximity to nature. Guests enjoy the local wildlife and the scenic beauty of the Inner Hebrides, making the location almost universally appreciated.

Guests describe the lodge as spacious, warm, and extremely comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a relaxing atmosphere. The few negative comments about mattress covers and toilet seats suggest minor areas for improvement.

The lodge is praised for being well-equipped and providing a home-from-home experience. However, some guests noted that certain facilities require maintenance and better cleaning, which affects the overall score for this category.

Several guests were touched by the thoughtful gestures such as a fruit bowl on arrival. While these gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

We didn't want to leave. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. It has the most amazing views and we thoroughly enjoyed walking down to the beach and stone skimming; a little further to Toberonochy, charming; and fishing off Cuan rocks. 10 out of 10 from us.

Beautiful house, well appointed and in a superb setting. Handy for most places on the island - even the shop was walkable. Hard to fault it really - though if I had to, while the bowl of fruit on arrival was very much appreciated, given the remote setting, we would have exoected a bottle of milk to start us off. But that's nit-picking - yes, wonderful place, thoroughly recommend for a holiday in a very remote setting but still with all mod cons. Alastair, Jane & Urska.
