Drover's Way is a beautifully situated, exceptionally clean and well-equipped cottage offering peace, tranquillity, and stunning views of Loch Awe. Guests consistently praise the abundance of wildlife, comfortable accommodation, and warm, helpful hosts. The remote location is perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat, though it does require a drive to reach shops and amenities. The cottage is ideal for nature lovers and those wishing to unwind in a scenic, secluded setting. Minor issues such as the distance to shops and occasional comfort concerns are outweighed by the overall positive experience.
Cleanliness is frequently highlighted, with guests describing the cottage as spotless, exceptionally clean, and well presented. Only one minor mention of a slight damp smell in a bedroom was noted, but this did not detract from the overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The location is widely praised for its beauty, peace, and proximity to wildlife, with stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. The remoteness is a positive for most, though some mention the long drive to shops as a drawback.
Guests find the cottage cosy, comfortable, and well suited for relaxation, with comfortable beds and sofas. There are a few isolated comments about a less comfortable bed and a lack of bathroom grab handles, but these are rare.
The cottage is described as well equipped, with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a well-stocked kitchen, wood burner, and good amenities. Minor suggestions for improvement include bathroom safety features and wardrobe space.
Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as bottled water, food items, flowers, and well-stocked bird feeders. While these gestures are appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The house was clean and cosy. The only thing was the long way to the mainroad. If we had known this, we problably had made another choice. We still enjoyed our week.

It's well equipped and there's plenty of room to spread out for a fortnight exploring this gorgeous piece of Argyll. The cottage's location is very much "off the beaten track" which is what I go for. Surrounded by wildlife - red squirrels in the garden! - it's a peaceful, slow-paced place, but there's plenty to explore aroind Kilmartin Glen and further afield. Altogether a delightful stay in a lovely cottage :-)

The cottage was well equipped, cozy and warm - perfect for our winter break. It was well located with beautiful views across the Loch with loads furry friend visitors to the garden (red squirrels, roe deer) and countless types of birds (big and small)!! Although there's a little drive to everywhere, there's so much to do in the local area - I would 100% recommend staying at Drover's Way!
