A long gravel driveway greets you the property, with room to park four cars at the side of the house and enter through the side door, into a well-polished kitchen where you can rustle together your favourite meal. Moving through the property there is a ground-floor shower room and a sitting/dining area, with a nicely sized dining table to gather your loved ones and plan for the day ahead over some breakfast, and when the sun goes down, grab a spot on the sofa and flick on your favourite film on the Smart TV. Head upstairs to discover s a lovely king-size bedroom with no need for a TV as there are breathtaking views of Holy Loch to occupy your attention, a double bedroom with a large wardrobe providing plenty of space for you to unpack your belongings, a twin room to offer flexible sleeping arrangements and a Highland cow-themed bedroom with a bunk bed that is perfect for children. Outside there is a garage/utility room, which houses a handy washing machine and tumble dryer to freshen up any clothes, plus a lawn and patio garden, ideal for letting your furry friends stretch their legs while you enjoy a morning coffee. The cottage is just a stone's throw from the stunning Kilmun Arboretum, and just a short drive away from the woodland gorge and picturesque waterfalls at Puck's Glen, plus Benmore Botanic Garden, a 120-acre collection of plants, rhododendrons and redwoods. The property itself rests on the edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, which is home to Beinn Mhor, the highest mountain on the Cowal peninsula, making it a haven for walkers and cyclists, with hillside walks displaying unforgettable views over Loch Long and Holy Loch, renowned for its history of shipbuilding and as a US Navy submarine base. Head further afield to the traditional resort town of Dunoon, with its many bars, coffee shops and restaurants offering local seafood, as well as a high street of mostly independent shops offering a refreshingly unique shopping experience. This area attracts crowds with a variety of events, including food and music festivals, sailing regattas and the Cowal Highland Gathering, reputed to be the largest and most spectacular in the world.
