Whilst the location was good the entrance to the apartment was off putting. The door was filthy and covered in bird droppings. The entrance hall smelt strongly of damp and mould although none was obvious. The apartment was clean tidy if a little dull. A particular problem was the power switches for e.g. water heating and electrc heating were not not obvious being tucked away in an unlit cupboard with other switches placed randomly on the walls. The visitor guide did indicate where things were but as it was not obvious to start with it did not help initially.Kitchen was well stocked.Beds were comfortable. It would have been more welcoming if heating had been on on arrivalWelcome pack was nice.

Nice apartment overlooking the river with views towards the Loch. Ideal for exploring the area. Apartment itself was well maintained but there was what appeared to be a lot of dog hairs around the floors. Other than that the rooms were well presented and tidy. Beds being very comfortable. The entrance is a distance from the car park and up several flights of stairs, this shouldn’t be a problem as the apartment is on the first floor so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The entrance hall and stairs is shared with the apartment above and could do with a bit of a clean. All together acceptable stay.
