Site was nice, location was excellent but despite having to wait longer for check-in due to covid cleaning our caravan was not very clean. They was dried on noodles onto the hob ( oven must not have been cleaned) the kitchen cupboards were dirty, pots and pans were also dirty and more concerning was that there was a used face mask and gloves under the master bed, then under a spare bed was a pair of underwear! We contacted the site by email and did not receive a response it was only when my husband put it on Twitter that we had someone attend to remove the underwear! Also as much as the restaurant was nice it was pricy for the type/quality of food given ( I am from Edinburgh so used to paying expensive)

Overall we had a decent family break. Caravan was OK. Staff we came into contact with were lovely, no faults there. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant & the server was very friendly & pleasant. The fact that there was no entertainment whatsoever was shocking, half of the amusements were broken, and the soft play closing before 9 was absolutely unbelievable. By 10 o'clock the place was shutting up....the shop was very expensive and pretty sparce. The Go active side wasn't great. Didn't know we had to book well in advance. So managed 1activity. Which was not worth the money & very confined space for accommodating 12 people to wall climb..especially as other things were off, due to supposed covid rules. Age restrictions which were utterly stupid, meant the 4 kids we had with us couldn't do anything together.
