May not suit everyone as off the beaten track but perfect for what we wanted . No local amenities nearest shop 5 miles but lots of peace and quiet!

Situated off a main road, this cottage was set in a picturesque rural backdrop with a view of the neighboring loch. Though the décor and furnishings were somewhat dated, there was everything there to ensure you had a comfortable stay for the time spent inside. The owner Karen lives nearby and warmly greeted us before showing us around. We felt really well looked after and very much enjoyed staying at a great place in a part of Scotland I have rarely been to but loved every minute of. The scenery which greeted us whichever direction we went was so sublime and quite overwhelming. we had an amazing week together and made some precious precious and a lot of that was down to the cottage.

We enjoyed our stay at Brondeg lodge. The kitchen was well equipped with coffees and tea and spices and everything you need to cook. The place is huge for 2 bedrooms accommodation. No shops nearby (closest coop is 20 min away) so come prepared with food.
