Comfort is frequently mentioned positively, with the cottage described as warm, cosy, and well-equipped. There is a single mention of an uncomfortable bed, but overall, guests find the accommodation comfortable.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen appliances and cosy lounge with a log fire. However, there are some concerns about Wi-Fi connectivity and a water supply issue during rain, which affects the score.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Set on the narrowest part of the lovely Isle of Mull, Salen is a small village with a couple of hotels, a restaurant and a coffee shop. There is an agricultural show held just outside Salen each August. Outdoor pursuits in this area include mountain biking, walking, bird watching and pony trekking. Dramatic coastal scenery at Calgary Bay and the Gribun rocks make this a great base for artists or simply anyone seeking to blow the cobwebs away. The islands capital town, Tobermory, is 16 miles away, and has a choice of restaurants and other amenities.

Almost everything was provided for which made for a very pleasant and easy stay. The location was awesome, quiet and secluded, overlooking the Sound of Mull yet close enough to reach Salen and Tobermory easily. The Isle of Mull is beautiful and Iona is just ideallic. We'd love to return again some day.
