This traditional lodge sits in a stunning position on the shore of Loch Fyne. Just metres from the water, it offers peace, tranquillity and superb views, yet is also within easy reach of the amenities in the nearby town of Lochgilphead. It is ideal for a family break on the beautiful Kintyre peninsula.
With its timbered interior, this delightful single-storey lodge is warm and welcoming, with a single open-plan living space that creates a relaxed and airy feel, enhanced by the large windows that allow the light to pour in.
As you enter the lodge you come into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This lovely living space is perfect for a family, with comfy sofas, and a TV/DVD to keep younger guests entertained. The smart kitchen area is well-equipped for rustling up easy meals and the large table is ideal for family mealtimes or for enjoying board games on rainy days. The three bedrooms – one double, one twin and one bunk – are simply furnished but warm and cosy to ensure a good night’s sleep. The neat bathroom has a shower over bath, hand basin and WC.
Outside, the veranda has seating facing the loch where you can sit and relax with a drink while children play on the grass. On warm days you can go for a paddle at the edge of the loch or enjoy a stroll with the dog. In the evening, fire up the BBQ and have a meal under the stars.
