Glen Euchar House receives glowing praise for its stunning, peaceful location, extensive and well-kept grounds, and exceptional facilities, especially the hot tub. Guests consistently highlight the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable and homely atmosphere, and the helpfulness of the caretaker. Wildlife sightings and ample space for children are frequently mentioned. Minor negatives include occasional maintenance issues with sofas and water quality, but these do not detract from overwhelmingly positive experiences. The property is highly recommended for families and those seeking relaxation in beautiful Scottish countryside.
The majority of reviews describe the house as extremely clean and well-kept, with special mention of the high standard of housekeeping. Only a few minor comments note areas needing a little TLC, such as skirting boards or tired furnishings, but these are rare and do not affect the overall impression.
The location is universally praised for its tranquillity, beautiful scenery, and proximity to Oban. Guests love the peaceful setting, extensive private grounds, and easy access to local attractions, making it ideal for both relaxation and exploration.
Guests frequently mention the house as spacious, warm, and comfortable, with a homely feel. Some note that a few sofas and single beds are past their best, but overall comfort remains a strong positive throughout the reviews.
The property is described as exceptionally well-equipped, especially the kitchen and entertainment options. The hot tub is a standout feature, and the grounds offer plenty for families and nature lovers. Occasional comments about maintenance (e.g., sofas, fridge, water colour) are noted but do not significantly impact the overall high standard.
The caretaker receives repeated praise for being friendly, helpful, and attentive, often going above and beyond to assist guests. While some guests mention thoughtful touches and a warm welcome, there is no mention of guaranteed gifts, so guests should not expect these as standard.

The house is very well presented with everything you would want for your stay and very comfortable. It has to be said that the biggest selling point is the truely superb garden, and by garden I should say park as its is huge. You have extensive lawns, woodland, river and even a duck pond. Honestly if you have children that are old enough to play by themselves you will never see them, absolutely fantastic. Big shout out to Gordon the property manager who is always on hand to help out if needed and not least his two dogs who became our furry friends for our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay if your looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday in this beautiful area.

The house is set in the most glorious location. We were a bit worried about the yellow tinged drinking water but Gordon reassured us and there was bottled water if we didnât feel comfortable drinking it. The hot tub was such a bonus which my 5 year old granddaughter loved. The birds at the bird station were fascinating to watch, even had a couple of woodpeckers visit. We travelled out and about and were happy to return to a cosy and warm Glen Euchar every day
