We visited for a long weekend with family. Unfortunately my son and partner had to call off. Very spacious and comfortable cottage in a quiet location surrounded by farm land. Nicely decorated and clean. Well equipped with great views over Kilchattan Bay. Wild hares in garden and interesting and varied bird life around flitting in and out of the hedgerows, waders on the bay including a couple of little egrets, and even a hen harrier flying over. Close to Mount Stuart for an incredible journey through architecture, art and the vast gardens. A short drive to Rothesay or anywhere on Bute! Regular short ferry crosing makes the island very accesible. I would highly recommend and hope to return some time.

The cottage is good, if a little pricey. We had issues with the showers and control of water heat. Some sink plugs leaked requiring topping up as it was being used. Little things. Overall comfort was great. It worked very well for three generations of a family.
